1. Meet with Agent
Meet with an agent and let then know about your home wants and needs.  Talk about areas or the city you would like to live in and schools you would like your children to attend.  

2.  Tour New Homes with your Agent

Start viewing model homes with your agent.  

3.  Sign contract with your builder, pick home plan and lot.

4.  Pick your Colors and Finishes and Upgrade Features

New Builds come with standard features.  Upgraded features such as upgraded cabinets, flooring, finished basements, AC may be optional and will be added on to the base purchase price.

5.  Design Center 

Once the contract is signed you will make an appointment with the Design Center to select paint color, carpet color and style, cabinet colors, flooring type.  Please note upgrades will be in additonal to standard features.

 6.  Lender

The lender will ask for income verification throughtout the process. If you decide to get upgrades from the Base Plan you will need to check with the lender to make sure you qualify for these additional options.

7.  Walk Through

Prior to closing you will walk through the home with a builder representative to review operation of appliances, furnace and care for your new home.  This is the time to ask questions, review warranties and learn about your new home before final closing.

8.  Final Walk Through

Final Walk-Through is usually done on the day of closing.  This is the time to make sure everything is complete and done to your standards.  

9.  Utilities

We will provide you with a list of utility companies that provide services to your new home.  Please call at least a week before closing to arrange utilities to transfered to your name and to be turned on for the day of closing.

10.  Closing

Closing takes place after the homewoner orientation and will be held at the title company.  Closing wi where you sign the final documents to purchase your home.  Once completed, you will recieve the keys to your new home and you can move in once your receive the keys.  We will arrange the closing with the title company and builder and will confirm the location, date and time with you along with items you must bring with you to the appointment.
